Lead thermal and fluid design and simulation for electrical vehicle thermal system components, eMachine, power electronics
Assist in developing product specifications, structure design and product prototype
Manage suppliers and lab facilities for sample prototyping and tests
Work closely with the Corporate Research headquarter in Germany and business units on competence development and project activities
Work closely with business units in China to supply cutting edge technology solutions and to transform them to products
Execute technology scouting that covers both academia and industry in China/Asia for preparing strategic decisions
Qualifications
Master’s degree in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, power engineering or related majors, working experience on rotating fluid machinery like compressor is a plus
Expert knowledge and practical experiences in thermodynamics, computational fluid dynamics, computational heat transfer, conjugate heat transfer simulation
Proficient in CFD commercial software (ANSYS, COMSOL, etc.) usage is necessary
Good knowledge on fast prototyping and experimental validation, experiences in vehicle thermal system bench tests are preferred
Good at 1D simulation tool (AMESim, GT-Suite, etc.) is a plus
Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (oral and written)
Efficient, goal-oriented, structured working style, experienced in project work
